Description
No. 12 Church Lane is a cottage that may date back to the 18th century, with a late 19th-century extension. It features a timber frame with plaster infill, stone rubble, and brick dressings, topped by a continuous thatched roof. The cottage has two brick chimneys, one positioned to the right of center and the other at the left end. It is a single-storey building with four windows. The left part of the cottage includes a segmentally-headed stable door and a 2-light casement window, while the right part has leaded casements, including one with four lights on the right side and one with two lights on either side of the entrance. The frame consists of three panels high to the right of center and two panels high to the left of the stack.
