Description
This is a barn and cider-house built in the 18th century, located 20 metres south of Harmshay Farmhouse. The structure features rubble walls with stone quoins and a half-hipped roof made of corrugated iron. It is one and a half storeys tall, with a central barn door raised approximately three feet off the ground, supported by a cill beam resting on staddle-stones. There is an openwork pattern of ventilation holes in brick. To the left, there is a door for the cider house, with a loft door directly above it and small windows to the right. Inside, the loft over the cider house has shallow-chamfered beams. This building is included for its group value.
