Description
Keeper's Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the 17th century. It features a timber-frame construction with an early 20th-century extension on the right side. The building has regular panels with wattle-and-daub infill and a continuous slate roof with chimneys at both ends. It is one storey high with an attic and has three raking top dormers. The two left bays are from the 17th century, while the right bay is from the 20th century. The casement windows, the door, and the gabled hood to the right of the timber-framed section are all from the 20th century. There is a left external chimney with a detached brick shaft, and the lower part is made of sandstone and surrounded by a later lean-to. The right side has a brick chimney from the 20th-century extension.
