House. Mid C18. Roughcast, tiled, hipped roofs, brick end stack to left. Plan consists of front range and 2 additional parallel rear ranges of the same height and depth as the front range. 3 storeys, 6 bays, glazing bar sashes, entrance by porch of 2 Tuscan columns supporting entablature through glazed C20 door to third bay from right. To left is a late C19 2 bay 2 storeys extension which connects with a long single storey late C18/early C19 service wing backing on to rear court yard. Interior: left main front room has re- positioned mid-late C18 fireplace with swagged frieze; right main front room has C20 decoration in C18 style; C20 open well plan balustered staircase. The contemporary staircase behind the entrance bay was removed c.1975 and the C20 staircase inserted one bay to left. (The rest of interior not inspected). A right hand wing, probably late C19 was demolished c.1971. The rear 2 ranges have at their junction a central large stack probably indicative of a C17 rear portion of the house.
