Farmhouse. C17 - C18. Timber-frame, brick infill in regular square panels, 2 residual diagonal struts, continuous plain tiled roof hipped to left; external brick end stack to left. Long 2 storey range formerly partly agricultural; 6 groups of windows mostly C20 steel casements; entrance position roughly under second window from left; plain ledged C20 oak doorcase and door under 3 bay C20 pentice of no special interest, large inserted French casements roughly central; brick and stone C19 tallet stairs leading to former granary, now part of dwelling, entrance via former internal c1700 moulded pine panelled door; right gable rebuilt, hipped C19 extension to rear with porch facing road; 2 storey brick extension to left. Interior: left end of main range is 2 bays set at right-angles: heavy hip supports; both parts have raking struts to purlins, floor beams have run-out stop-chamfers.
