Description
This barn, located about 15 yards south-east of Pullastone Farmhouse, is likely from the late 18th century and has undergone some alterations. It is constructed of sandstone rubble and features roofs made of Welsh slate and corrugated asbestos. The barn consists of three bays that are oriented roughly north to south. The west elevation has a blocked central entry leading to the threshing floor, which is flanked by a pair of vent loops. The south gable includes one vent loop situated beneath a central pitching hole, which has a strap-hinged ledged door. The east elevation features a 19th-century catslide extension. Inside, there are angle struts connecting the ties to the principals. The barn is included for its group value.
