Description

MUCH BIRCH CP A 49 (south side) SO 53 SW 5/68 Barn about 15 yards east of Ash Farmhouse GV II Barn. Probably c1800. Finely jointed squared sandstone and concrete tiled roof. Rectangular plan of five or seven structural bays aligned roughly north-west/south-east. North-east elevation has central opposed wagon entry with two-leaved doors under segmental head. To each side of the entry are three rows of five vent slits. Interior has pegged collar trusses.
