Description

This barn, located about 15 yards east of Ash Farmhouse, dates from around 1800. It is built from finely jointed squared sandstone and features a concrete tiled roof. The barn has a rectangular plan consisting of five or seven structural bays, aligned roughly north-west to south-east. The north-east elevation includes a central wagon entry with two-leaved doors beneath a segmental arch. Flanking the entry are three rows of five vent slits. Inside, the barn features pegged collar trusses.
