Description

Stocking House is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century, with some repairs made in the mid-20th century. It is constructed of brick and features a concrete tile roof, with external gable end stacks. The west front has two storeys and three windows, which are recessed glazing bar sashes set under rubbed brick heads. The central entrance is highlighted by a wooden doorcase that includes engaged Doric columns, triglyphs in the entablature, and a dentilled open pediment. Above the recessed door, which has six flush panels, is a radially glazed fanlight.
