Description

House. Dating from the 17th century, it has been altered in the 20th century. The house is timber-framed with painted brick infill, a sandstone stack, a 20th-century tiled roof, and 20th-century brick additions. It has two framed bays, aligned east-west and facing north, with a west gable end stack. The entrance is in the east gable end and connects with a 20th-century addition extending further east. The house is single-storey and has an attic. It features two 20th-century gabled dormers with two-light casement windows, three irregularly spaced two-light casement windows to the ground floor, and a 20th-century glazed porch to the east, which connects with a 20th-century single-storey extension with a three-light bow window. A large external stack is located to the west, incorporating a bread oven.
