Description
Nos 14 and 15 on High Street are 18th-century buildings made of red brick that has been colourwashed. They feature brick dentil eaves and a tiled roof with gabled ends. The buildings stand three storeys tall and have four sash windows with glazing bars, each topped with segmental arched heads and keyblocks. The ground floor has two modern shop fronts with high fascias, and there is a round-headed passage to the left. On the first floor of No 14, there are casement windows with glazing bars. At the rear, there is a timber frame wing with brick nogging and a tiled roof with gabled ends, along with a late 17th-century brick wing. Inside No 14, there are some reused flat wavy balusters. These buildings, along with the Market House and other listed buildings on the east side of High Street, form a cohesive group.
