Description

This is an 18th-century red brick house of three storeys and a cellar, situated on the south side of Bromyard Market Square. The roof is hipped, covered with slate, and features a parapet and moulded cornice. The front elevation has four sash windows. The entrance is distinguished by attached Doric columns, a frieze, dentils, and a tabled pediment. Flanking bay windows are present, with the right-hand one supported by cast iron arches. The interior includes a room with an Adam-style reeded frieze, an 18th-century staircase, and a window with original 18th-century glazing bars. Nos 2 to 12 (even numbers) form a group with Nos 16 to 23 on Broad Street.
