Description

No. 14 Market Square is a building from the 18th or 19th century. It is constructed of brick, with stone rubble at the rear, and features brick dentil eaves. The building stands three storeys tall and has sash windows. It has a hipped slate roof. Inside, there is a 17th-century staircase that is said to have original turned balusters and square newels with moulded tops. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 14 to 18.
