Description

The Hop Pole Hotel is an 18th-century building located on the north side of Bromyard Market Square. Originally constructed of red brick, it has been roughcast and colourwashed. The hotel is a large, rectangular structure of three storeys, topped with a hipped slate roof featuring dentil blocks at the rear and sides, with no eaves on the front elevation. The top floor has four sash windows with keyblocks. On the first and ground floors, the building is flanked by splayed bays. A porch with fluted Tuscan columns and a reeded architrave leads to the main door. A rear extension also exists.
