Description

Gable House is a late 18th century building that has been refronted and significantly altered. It stands three storeys tall and features modern sash windows and Victorian pilastered shop fronts. The roof is covered with slate, and the house occupies a prominent corner position. At the rear, the timber framing is exposed. Inside, there is an original 17th century staircase. Gable House, along with Nos 11 to 13, forms a group.
