Description

Llandinabo Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the late 17th century, with some later alterations. It is constructed of coursed sandstone rubble with sandstone dressings, topped by a hipped Welsh slate roof and featuring stone end stacks. The building has cellars, two storeys, and an attic, with five bays, glazing bar sash windows, and three gabled dormers. There is a raised stone string course between the ground and first floors, projecting keystones above the ground floor windows, and wooden eaves cornices. The central porch, which is early 19th century, is supported by two plain columns and was probably glazed in the late 20th century, featuring modern inner and outer doors.

To the rear right of the farmhouse is a part timber-framed wing, likely from the late 17th or 18th century, which was formerly a granary. This wing includes tallet stairs leading to a studded and nailed door. The rear portion of the farmhouse has a sandstone rubble ground floor and a timber-framed first floor with brick infill. Inside the front part of the farmhouse, there is a re-positioned late 17th-century staircase with a dog-gate at the bottom made from 17th-century balusters.
