Description
This is a farmhouse, likely dating from the 17th century with alterations in the early 19th century. It is constructed of sandstone rubble, partly rendered, with a Welsh slate roof. The building has a rectangular plan and includes a cellar, with two storeys. The east-facing front has one window: an early 19th-century two-light window on the first floor, with a restored 17th-century three-light chamfered mullioned window below. To the right of this is a mid-20th-century glazed porch, beyond which is a large, three-storey early 19th-century wing with a hipped roof and three bays of segmental-headed windows. The west elevation features early 19th-century casement windows, mainly with three lights, also with segmental heads. Inside the eastern wing is a large plaster cowl that rises from a ground floor brick furnace to the first floor. Associated farm buildings are listed separately under Llanwarne CP.
