Description
The Moor is a farmhouse that likely dates from the 18th century, although it may have earlier origins. It is constructed of square sandstone rubble with sandstone dressings and features a hipped Welsh slate roof along with external rubble end stacks. The building is two storeys high with an attic and has five bays that are aligned roughly north to south.
The east elevation includes three windows on the first floor, with the inner pair being blind and featuring 20th-century casements. The ground floor has sash windows, and there are two hipped dormers with early 20th-century casements, each containing two lights. The central entrance is accessed through a mid-19th-century porch, which has a contemporary three-panelled door with a fanlight above it. To the left, there is a lean-to extension that has a 2-light casement window. At the rear of the right-hand side, there is a granary wing that includes tallet stairs on its north side.
