Description

The property is a farmhouse, likely dating from the 17th century with substantial enlargement and alteration in the 19th century. It is constructed of finely coursed and roughly squared sandstone rubble, with a hipped roof of Welsh slate and brick and rubble stacks. The building is arranged in an L-shape, with one arm running north-north-east to south-south-west and a cross-wing projecting to the east from the north end. There is a cellar and two storeys. The east elevation has 1:1 windows, featuring late 19th-century sash windows. A porch with a re-used four-centred arch is located to the left of the projecting wing. The north elevation contains a series of blocked windows. The interior was not inspected, but reports suggest it contains a staircase and panelling, as documented in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments, Volume I, page 232.
