Description

This tomb chest, dating from the mid-18th century, is located approximately 8 metres north of the Church of St Mary, to the west of the porch. It is made of sandstone and features a flat moulded slab with square baluster corners. The west side of the tomb chest displays a cartouche adorned with rococo scrolls, while the east side is decorated with three cherubs and a crown. The inscriptions on the tomb are mostly illegible but include a date that appears to be "175-".
