Description

This is a milestone located about 1080 yards east-northeast of the Church of St Faith. It dates from the late 19th century to early 20th century and was made by Harding Brothers in Hereford. The milestone is made of cast iron and has a hollow triangular section with an angled top. It features raised lettering that reads: "DORE RURAL/ DISTRICT: TO/ PETERCHURCH/ 5/ MILES: TO/ PONTRILAS/ 4/ MILES."
