Description

This is a bridge over the River Dore, located about 50 yards south-west of the Church of St Bartholomew. It is possibly of late medieval origin but was widened and remodeled in the mid-19th century. The bridge is constructed from coursed sandstone and features three segmentally headed arches set within square-headed recesses. Each arch has cut-waters topped with pilasters, flat copings, and splayed approach parapets.
