Description

This is a bridge over the River Dore, located about 300 yards north-east of Chanstone Court Farmhouse. It is possibly from the early 19th century and constructed of coursed sandstone. The bridge features two four-centred arches and one segmental arch, each with keystones. It has angled abutments and stepped cut-waters. The copings do not project from the face of the causeway walls, which splay outwards at each of the four ends.
