Description
This barn, located about 20 yards east-north-east of The White House, is likely from the 17th and 18th centuries, with some later alterations. It features a brick plinth and a timber frame covered with weatherboards, topped by a pantile roof. The barn is arranged in four bays running from west-south-west to east-north-east. The south elevation has weatherboards and ledged doors leading to the threshing floor in the second bay from the left. Inside, the barn has a wall frame with four square panels high from the cill to the wall plate, as well as collar trusses with queen struts. The end trusses include V-struts from the collars. This barn is included for its group value.
