NORTON CANON CP - SO 34 NE 4/85 Barn and stable about 40 yards west of Hyatt Sarnesfield

GV II

Barn and stable. C18. Sandstone rubble plinth, brick gables and timber- frame with weatherboards and Welsh slate roof. Rectangular four-bay plan aligned north-east/south-west. Two levels. South-east elevation is weather- boarded with central ledged opposed stable doors. Ground floor has two open- ings with ledged shutters to left-hand side and one to right-hand side. Gables have continuous perforations formed by spaces in brickwork. South-west gable has central stable door. Interior has oak trough to north-east half of north-west wall. Trusses have raking struts.
