5/110 Barn and cow house about 70 yards north-west of - Tanhouse Farmhouse

GV II

Barn and cow house. Probably early C18. Coursed rubble, weatherboards, timber-frame, corrugated iron roofs. Five bays, oriented east/west, 2 lean- to extensions, one either side of central southern entrance. Weatherboarded east gable above the usual 3 evenly placed entrances to cow house. Eastern lena-to also has east facing door at same height as others. Central full- height doors to threshing floor in corrugated iron. Interior: not inspected. Evidence from cladding is that east gable above cow house is probably three panels high from cow house lintols to tie-beam.
