Description
This building is a barn and cow house, likely dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble, weatherboards, and timber-frame, with corrugated iron roofs. The structure has five bays and is oriented east to west, featuring two lean-to extensions, one on either side of a central entrance on the southern side. The east gable is weatherboarded and includes three evenly spaced entrances for the cow house. The eastern lean-to also has an east-facing door at the same height as the other entrances. There are central full-height doors leading to the threshing floor, which are made of corrugated iron. The interior has not been inspected, but evidence from the cladding suggests that the east gable above the cow house is likely three panels high, extending from the cow house lintels to the tie-beam.
