Description

The churchyard cross, located about 15 metres south of the Church of St George, is likely from the late 14th century, with some alterations made in the 18th century. It is constructed from ashlar stone. The cross features four octagonal steps that rise to a square socket stone, which has a broach stop detail at the top. On the west side of the socket stone, there is a niche with a two-centred head. The octagonal cross shaft is topped with an 18th-century pyramidal cap.
