Description

This outbuilding, located approximately 5 metres east of Grove Farmhouse, dates back to the 17th century. Its original purpose is not definitively known, but it has been recorded as a cider house and is now used as a store. The structure is timber-framed with a sandstone plinth, featuring a combination of brick and wattle-and-daub infill, and is topped with a slate roof. It consists of two framed bays that are aligned north to south, with the north gable end facing the road. The gable end has an entry, along with a second entry to the lower bay. The north gable displays three square panels from the sill to the wall-plate, which have altered lozenge framing.
