Description

This is a doorway located about 20 yards south-east of The Vine, likely dating from the 17th century. It features sandstone dressings and sandstone rubble. The doorway has a pediment with scrolled bottom corners and a fleur-de-lys panel beneath the apex. Above the semi-circular headed doorway, there is a moulded string course, and the doorway itself has moulded jambs, imposts, and intrados. The door, which is probably from the 19th century, is nailed and has enriched strap hinges. The Vine is not included in this listing.
