Description

MARSTOW CP SO 52 SE 6/105 Granary about 30 yards north of Whitfield

GV II

Granary. C18. Squared sandstone and Welsh slate roof. Four structural bays aligned east/west. Cellar and two storeys. South elevation has three oeil-de-boeuf openings to upper floor, oculus in small central pediment above eaves and two square headed openings, one to each side of central early C20 stable door. West gable has oculus to apex, square opening to right of ledged door at the top of tallet-stairs rising from south. Above the stairs is another oeil-de-boeuf to ground floor. East gable has central entry to cellar with external stairs. Interior has trusses with collars.
