HENTLAND CP SO 52 NW 3/62 Granary about 25 yards west of Llanfrother

GV II

Granary and stables, now granary. C18, with later alterations. Squared coursed sandstone rubble, sandstone dressings and Welsh slate roof. Four bays aligned north-north-west/south-south-east. Three storeys. East elevation has segmentally headed openings except for two square headed ones to top floor; two windows, one to each side of roughly central first floor doorway reached by stone tallet stairs rising from left; ground floor has two doorways with one opening to left and one to right. Kneelers and verges to gables. south gable has high early C20 double-leaved doors beneath concrete lintel. Interior has trusses with collars and curved principals. Included for group value.
