Description
Tresseck is a farmhouse that likely dates from the 16th to 17th century, with earlier origins and some alterations made in the late 19th to early 20th century. It features a timber-frame construction with sandstone rubble and sandstone dressings, along with brick stacks and tiled roofs. The building has a T-plan layout, with the main range running east to west and a cross-wing at the west end. It includes a cellar, one storey, and an attic.
On the south elevation, there is a gable front on the left side, which has two levels of two-storey, 2-light mullioned windows, each with hood-moulds. A ledged door is located at the bottom of a flight of stairs. The main range has three gables, each featuring c1900 casements with two lights. To the left, there is a mid-20th century steel French casement, and in the centre, a ledged door.
The north elevation displays exposed timber-framing and an eroded 2-light mullioned window on the east side. The east gable has one 2-light mullioned window on the first floor, while the west gable also has exposed timber-frame and an entry with a bracketed c1900 hood. The interior has not been inspected.
