Description
The former Congregational Chapel adjoining Llangrove Cottage was built around 1840. It is constructed of coursed and squared sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings and features a hipped slate roof. The building has a rectangular shape and is located to the west of Llangrove Cottage. The north entrance includes a moulded cornice and string course, with a cast iron canopy supported by four pillars. The entrance features a semi-circular headed doorway with a fanlight and panelled doors. On the west side, there are two windows with flat arches, stone heads with keystones, and glazing bar sash windows. Inside, the chapel has panelled shutters on the windows, a panelled dado, and a central cupola.
