Description
Treverven is a farmhouse that features a 16th-century west wing and a late 17th-century main house. It is constructed of sandstone rubble, with part of the rear wing being timber-framed, and has a 20th-century tiled roof. The main house is oriented north to south and faces east, with the earlier rear wing creating a T-shaped layout. It has a central entrance that leads to a rear stair turret and gable end stacks. The building has two storeys, an attic, and a cellar. There are four windows, including cross casements and a three-light window on the ground floor, located to the north of a 20th-century glazed porch with a partly glazed door. The single-storey rear wing has an attic, with the timber framing visible in the gable end, featuring square panelling and V-struts. Inside, there is a 17th-century framed newel staircase with turned balusters, and a stone fireplace with moulded jambs and a four-centred arch, complete with decorative details in the spandrels, remains intact in the room south of the entrance.
