Description

Llangrove Cottage is a former rectory that has been converted into a farmhouse, dated 1824. The building is constructed of ashlar stone, with the rear rendered, and features brick stacks and a hipped slate roof. It is designed in a T-plan, consisting of two rooms deep with a rear service wing, and it adjoins a former congregational chapel to the west. The main entrance is centrally located and leads to a stairwell, with end stacks on either side. The cottage is two storeys high and has three windows, which are glazing bar sashes. It includes a central gabled porch with a partly-glazed 19th-century door. Inside, there is a contemporary ramped staircase.
