Description

This barn, located about 30 yards north-east of Knapp Green Farmhouse, is likely from the 18th century. It is constructed of sandstone rubble and has a pantile roof. The barn features three bays that are aligned east-north-east to west-south-west. The north elevation includes a central wagon entry that is opposed, with four vent loops on either side arranged in two rows of two. Inside, there are raking struts supporting the trusses. This barn is included for its group value, although Knapp Green Farmhouse is not part of this listing.
