Description
56 and 56A Commercial Street is a shop and former dwelling, dating from the early 19th century. The building is constructed of painted brick and features a Welsh slate roof, with a stack located at the rear. It stands three storeys tall and has a two-window range. The windows have been altered in the 19th century and include 6/6 sash windows under gauged brick flat arches, with 3/3 sash windows above. The building has a brick modillion eaves. The shop front was updated in the 20th century and includes entrances on the right side, with an entrance to No. 56A on the left.
