Description
This house, located on the east side approximately 140 metres south of the Church of St Mary, dates from the 17th century and has been altered in the 20th century. It features a timber-framed structure with sections of wattle-and-daub and painted brick infill, along with a sandstone plinth and a tiled roof. The building consists of four framed bays arranged north to south, facing west, with a central entrance and a stack at the north gable end. It is two storeys high and has 2-light casement windows, with one window to the left and three to the right of a half-glazed 20th-century door. The framing is mostly intact but has been modified, displaying four square panels from the sill to the wall-plate and lozenge framing in the south gable.
