Description
The garden wall to the former kitchen gardens of Stoke House dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of brick with sandstone rubble footings. The wall surrounds an irregularly shaped garden, featuring continuous walling on the south-east, north-east, and north-west sides. There is an entrance located toward the south-east corner, and the outer face of the wall is supported by regularly spaced pilaster buttressing.
