Description

Ledbury Lodge, along with its gate piers and gates, is located to the east and is flanked by a brick wall. This lodge, built in the early 19th century, is thought to be designed by either C. H. Tatham or William Wilkins. It features a brick structure with stone dressings and a slate roof, complemented by wrought and cast iron gates. The lodge has a two-storey central section with a pediment and single-storey wings on either side. The windows are arranged in a 1:1:1 pattern and are fitted with glazing bar sashes. The gate piers are made of sandstone and topped with pyramidical caps. The gates consist of two-leaved sections in the center and single-leaved sections on the sides, featuring inverted cambers on the top rails, enriched bars, and two rows of dog bars. Brick walls extend approximately 30 yards to both the left and right of the gates.
