Description
This building is a stable with a loft above and a pigsty, located approximately 25 meters west of Phocle Farmhouse. It likely dates from the early 19th century, with the pigsty added in the mid-19th century. The structure is made of coursed rubble stone and features a roof of Welsh slate and plain tiles. The stable has two window openings on the right side and a projecting 20th-century lean-to on the left, which is not considered to have special architectural interest. The pigsty, located at the far left, projects forward and includes round-arched doorways leading to walled areas. The right end of the stable has both a doorway and a loft doorway. Inside, there are unchamfered oak beams and a king-post truss roof. This building is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
