Description
The stable, located 28 meters to the northwest of Penant Farmhouse, dates from the early 19th century and is now used as a piggery and store. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a slate roof with hipped ends. The building has a rectangular plan, with a stable on the ground floor and a hayloft above. The front of the stable is well designed, showcasing brick flat segmental arches over the openings. There is a stable door on the left and a small window to the left of center. To the right, stone rubble steps lead up to the entrance of the loft, which has a small window on the first floor above the ground floor window. This well-designed farm building is situated in the farmyard opposite Penant Farmhouse.
