Description
This stable, granary, and pigsty, located about 20 yards east of Shilmoor Farmhouse, dates back to 1815, as indicated by the date above the first-floor window. The building is constructed of random rubble with dressed-stone quoins and surrounds, topped with a Welsh slate roof.
It stands two storeys high, featuring a boarded door and a half-shuttered window to the right. On the first floor, there is a single six-pane casement window, with the date visible on the lintel above it. The structure has a gabled roof with flat coping.
To the right, there is a lean-to pigsty that includes a door and an exercise yard at the rear. Additional farm buildings are attached to the back of the stable, but these are not considered of special interest.
