Style House, Enclosing Walls and Front Gateway

Style House is a house that likely dates from the mid-19th century and was extended in the early 20th century. It is built from coursed sandstone and features hipped slate roofs with brick end stacks on the main block. The house has a rectangular plan oriented east to west and stands three storeys tall. It has a moulded wooden eaves cornice and five windows, with a central section that is advanced under a gable, matching the cornice at its verges. The windows are mid-20th century cross-casements.

The entrance is located under a central porch that has a quarter-foil frieze supported by two fluted columns, leading to a contemporary six-panelled door. There is a two-storey extension to the south, which has one window on each floor, with each window containing six panes.

The forecourt walls to the south and east are made of coursed and square rubble. The south wall is approximately 5 feet high and ramps up to the corners, which are topped with ball finials. The central gate piers are made of ashlar and also feature ball finials. The gates are made of cast and wrought iron, with spear-head designs, dog rails, and intersecting braces. The east wall is about 7 feet high, approximately 50 yards long, and ramps up to a blocked doorway located to the northeast of the house.
