Description

Withington Court is an 18th-century house constructed from coursed sandstone rubble with slate roofs. The building has an irregular plan, featuring a main east/west range and a service complex that extends to the north-west. It stands two storeys tall. The south elevation includes a two-window projecting gable front on the left, which connects to the main five-window section with regular glazing bar sashes. The entrance is located in the middle of the main right-hand part, featuring a mid-19th century panelled door beneath a wide segmental fanlight, all within an open porch supported by wooden columns. The service complex at the rear has cast iron casements with segmental heads on the west elevation.
