Description

The Green Cottage is a house that may date from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of sandstone rubble and features a thatched roof with a brick stack on the left side. The building has a rectangular plan and faces roughly south. It is one storey with an attic and has two windows; the ground floor windows are mid-20th century casements, while the dormer windows have early 19th century metal frames. Access to the cottage is through a ledged door from the mid-20th century.
