Description
Mary Mayos memorial is a chest tomb located approximately 8 meters north-east of the chancel of the Church of St Deinst. It dates from the mid-19th century and is constructed of ashlar in the Gothic style. The tomb features a moulded plinth and a slightly hipped moulded capping. At the center, there is a semi-circular headed inscription panel with cusped detailing, which is flanked by a pair of tall rectangular panels with cusped designs, and further flanked by a trefoil-headed lancet. This memorial commemorates Mary Mayos, who died in 1862.
