Description

The Grange is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of sandstone rubble with a brick facade in Flemish bond, topped by a hipped slate roof. The building has a symmetrical design featuring three storeys and three bays. The windows have segmental heads and are sashed with glazing bars; the ground floor windows are tripartite, while those on the upper storeys include sill bands. A dentilled eaves cornice adds detail to the roofline. The entrance features a round-headed doorway beneath a Doric porch, which is made of painted stucco or stone and includes a cornice and blocking course.
