Description
The Edmund Jones Memorial, located approximately 15 meters north of the Church of St John the Baptist, is a Grade II listed chest tomb dating from 1828. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and features a large rectangular sarcophagus design with a moulded plinth and a decorative entablature adorned with volutes. The memorial was formerly enclosed by a railing and commemorates Edmund Jones, who died in 1828, along with members of the Jones family.
