Description

KINGS CAPLE CP KINGS CAPLE SO 52 NE 3/47 Edmund Jones Memorial approximately 15 m north of Church of St John the Baptist GV II Chest tomb. 1828. Sandstone ashlar. Large rectangular plan sarcophagus with moulded plinth and decorative entablature with volutes above. Formerly in railed enclosure. Commemorates Edmund Jones died 1828, and members of Jones family.
