Description

This barn, located to the south-west of Lower Penalt, dates from the 18th century. It is constructed of sandstone rubble, featuring some timber-framing and weatherboard cladding, topped with a corrugated metal roof. The barn consists of three bays and has a central entrance. The gables have raised verges and include circular owl holes. Inside, there are collar and tie-beam trusses supported by two struts to the collar.
