Description

This barn, located approximately 20 meters north-east of Gwerngwenny Farmhouse, dates from the 17th century or early 18th century and has had later additions. It is constructed with a timber frame, featuring weatherboard cladding and some brick infill, topped with a corrugated metal roof. The barn consists of four bays and has a central entrance for the threshing floor. The trusses are inclined strut types without collars. There are also later lean-to additions made of brick with a pantiled roof and painted corrugated metal.
